Why can't I use traditional payment processors?

Most traditional payment processors and financial institutions shy away from the cannabis industry due to federal legality issues. Our debit card processing solution is specifically designed for cannabis businesses and has been reliable for over 10 years.

How quick is the application process?

Our process is speedy and straightforward. Get same-day approval upon submitting your application, which only requires a valid cannabis business license, W9, and ACH authorization from your bank.

How much does it cost?

There are no monthly fees to use PayLabs and we do not take a percentage of the sale. The only cost to dispensaries is the upfront cost of the payment hardware and setup which is a one-time fee per terminal.

Customers pay a small extra convenience fee for using the service, just like they do at an ATM. You will receive electronic settlement deposits directly to your business checking account within two business days. 

You may increase the consumer processing fee if you would like to collect a rebate on every transaction. Rebates are deposited to your bank account monthly.

Do I need a POS system?

No, our solution can work independently of a POS system, although we do integrate with many cannabis POS systems for a smoother operation.
